The espresso coffee maker Pulcina, designed by Michele de Lucchi, is the product of intense research. The focus was on the optimisation of the coffee pot shape to improve and enhance the organoleptic properties of coffee.
Thanks to the internal shape of its boiler, Pulcina automatically stops filtering the coffee at the right moment. This interruption helps to eliminate the eruption phase, the final filtering stage, that generates a burnt and bitter aftertaste. Thus, ensuring that only the finest qualities of the coffee are preserved, enhancing the full-bodied and rounded aroma of the coffee. The spout is quite pronounced. It’s typical 'V' shape, reminiscent of a baby chick’s beak, is specially designed to perfectly cut drops when pouring.
• Practical and functional, making coffee with the Pulcina is just like making it with a traditional coffee pot.
• Made in aluminium casting, with handle and knob in PA.
• Optimised shape enhances taste and smell of coffee
• Automatically stops filtering just before the coffee becomes bitter
• Designed by Michele De Lucchi
• Suitable for gas, electric, and ceramic cooktops
• Not compatible with induction cooktops

Whatever the task may be, there is a knife suitable for every job and some are more specific than others. Whether you’re a beginner or an aspiring professional, you can agree that every knife has its purpose. When starting a toolkit, you may want to start with a singular more universal knife like a Santoku or chef’s knife, which you can them complement with a few different sizes of utility knives and a bread knife. The downside is finding a safe spot to store the knives. Becoming increasing popular are knife blocks. For anyone looking for their first set of knives, we recommend starting with a 6 or 7-piece knife block, which features all your essential knives in one set: 1x paring knife + 1x utility knife + 1x santoku knife + 1x carving knife + 1x chef’s knife + 1x kitchen shear (optional).
