Feast on this moreish Pork Ribs recipe, featuring The Healthy Fry 9L Air Fryer by Baccarat.
Preparation and Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
- 1kg pork baby back ribs
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp cracked black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Cooking spray
- BBQ Sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp sea salt
METHOD
- Pat the ribs dry and then pull off the membrane from the underside and discard. Slice each rack in half and set aside on a baking tray.
- Combine the brown sugar, paprika, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a small bowl, mix well and rub into both sides of the meat.
- Select the Preheat icon on The Healthy Fry 9L Air Fryer and press start. Once the 3 minute preheating setting has completed, open the drawer and spray the cavity lightly with cooking oil. Place the racks of ribs onto the frying tray ensuring they’re evenly spaced and not touching and spray with a light coating of oil.
- Close the drawer, select the Ribs icon (200°C) and press start.
- Once the setting has finished, open the drawer and turn the ribs over. Close the drawer, select the Ribs icon for a second time, and press start.
- While the ribs are cooking, combine the BBQ sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and mix well to combine. Once the second cook has finished, remove the ribs and place on a tray. Brush both sides of the ribs with the BBQ sauce and return the ribs to the appliance drawer. Select the Ribs icon and use the +/- icon to decrease the default cooking time to 5 minutes, and press start.
- Allow the racks to rest for 5 minutes before slicing into single rib portions. Serve with a herby potato salad and a fresh crispy slaw. Enjoy!
