So for a little inspiration in the kitchen, drop into your local Robins Kitchen store for all the right ingredients. The Robins Kitchen storyIn November 1976 Allan Musgrave and his friend Robin Brace, had a vision to open a premium kitchenware store. This store would be built on a philosophy of providing superior service and all the tools that would inspire people to cook great meals at home. As a result of this dream, the first Robins Kitchen store was opened in Brisbane that year. Robins Kitchen grew and quickly established a strong reputation as the place to go for expert, independent advice and to purchase quality kitchenware and accessories. The key to maintaining this reputation has always been in the training and enthusiasm of our team, who are as passionate about cooking as our customers. While much has changed since 1976, the vision that Robins Kitchen was built on has remained the same. Australians may now be more adventurous in the kitchen and have adopted flavours from around the world – but our customers’ appetite for quality kitchenware and great service is as strong as ever. So while the actual wording of our vision may have been fine tuned a little over the years, much like a favourite recipe, Robins Kitchen’s goal has always remained the same - to inspire great home cooking. In 2003 poor health forced founder Allan Musgrave to place his beloved business on the market. The current owner and Managing Director Warwick Parer purchased the business in April 2004. New ownership brought on a number of changes during the first few years, including new senior team members, a new Retail Support Centre, a new fit out design and the establishment of a number of quality brands which are exclusive to Robins Kitchen. Robins Kitchen is now very proud to be Australia’s largest privately owned - and fastest growing - kitchenware chain with 56 stores from Cairns in North Queensland to Canberra in the ACT. The business has worked hard to carve out a niche in the market and as a result, the Robins Kitchen name is highly sought after by shopping centre owners around Australia. |
